Before you start

We are testing a new mobile application before its public release. We need real user feedback from Android devices.

Checklist

  • 1You have an Android smartphone or tablet.
  • 2You are willing to install an app from an APK file.
  • 3You can spend 5–10 minutes right now.
  • 4You will not enter any personal or financial data into the app.
⚠️ Participants on iOS / iPhone cannot take part in this study. Please quit now if your device is an iPhone, to avoid a rejected submission.

Download and install the app

Follow the steps below. You must install and launch the app before moving to the survey.

  • 1Tap the button below to download the APK file.
  • 2Open the downloaded file and allow installation from this source if prompted.
  • 3Install the app and open it from your home screen.
  • 4Explore the main features: open the app, navigate the main screens, and try the core flows (create/use a basic feature, then return to the start screen).
  • 5Once onboarding is finished, the app will show you a verification code — copy it and paste it below.

Complete onboarding in the app

Open the app and go through the onboarding steps (accept required permissions, walk through the first-run screens, reach the main screen). Once you have completed them, the app will show you a short verification code (something like PRLF-XXXXX). Copy that code and paste it here — it proves you completed the onboarding.

Tip: switch to the app, the code is shown on the main screen after onboarding is finished. Switch back here and paste it.

The completion code for Prolific is also shown inside the app — you will enter it there at the very end.

Use the app freely while answering — you can switch back and forth. Keep the survey open; your progress is saved automatically on this device.
